My ECE Registry User Testing - Volunteer Questionnaire

In December 2024, the Province launched My ECE Registry, a new digital platform that streamlines Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification by enhancing transparency and reducing wait times for applicants.

The Business Innovation Team is conducting user testing for My ECE Registry to inform design enhancements as we continuously improve our system. At this time, we are seeking participants to provide feedback on the updates we are making based on the new International Credentials Recognition Act.

To volunteer to test My ECE Registry, please complete the information form on the next page. We are looking for internationally certified ECEs and ECE Assistants.

Participation in testing My ECE Registry is voluntary and has no effect on your eligibility or application for other child care funding or programs. Your participation is encouraged, not required.

This information form will take approximately 1 to 2 minutes to complete.

Your personal information is being collected by the Ministry of Education and Child Care under sections 26(c) and 26(e) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA) for the purpose of participation in user testing of the Digital Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Registry. Your feedback about the experience will only be used to improve the ECE Registry. If you have any questions regarding this collection of personal information, please contact (Breanne McClusky, Manager of Engagement, Breanne.McClusky@gov.bc.ca).
