CAIRN-UofT Affiliate Intake Form

Thank you for your interest in becoming an affiliate of the Chronic Autoimmune and Inflammatory Disease Research Network at the University of Toronto (UofT), or CAIRN-UofT!

CAIRN-UofT was established to facilitate interdisciplinary, cross institutional, and cross-pillar collaborations among and between researchers, clinicians, patients, and other stakeholders across the University of Toronto. 

Current members of the CAIRN-UofT Network include:

• Dr. Nigil Haroon (Rheumatology)
• Dr. Raphael Schneider (Neurology)
• Dr. Aliya Gulamhusein (Autoimmune Liver Disease)
• Dr. Aaron Drucker (Dermatology)
• Dr. Parul Tandon (Gastroenterology - IBD, Data Lead)
• Eva Stefanova (Dr. Targownik’s Research Assistant)
• Nazish Butt (Dr. Targownik’s Research Coordinator) 

As a CAIRN-UofT affiliate, you will have the opportunity to connect with other researchers in related or complementary disciplines across the University of Toronto, through the creation of a comprehensive database that will contain information about members, their clinical interests and research programs, and their current infrastructural resources, including data and biospecimen banks. As the network develops, affiliates can be involved with initial strategic planning, attendance at CAIRN-UofT cross disciplinary colloquia, and access to funding opportunities. 

There is no cost to become an affiliate. All University of Toronto faculty and learners with an interest in chronic autoimmune disease are invited to become affiliates.
