Have you experienced a significant loss?
Is someone important to you seriously ill or has died, has a close relationship ended, have you lost your job or business? Are you dealing with a significant decline in your health or uncertainty about the future? Do you know that these losses and many others can trigger grief?
Grief is a natural response to loss. Most people will experience grief in their lifetimes, often many times, with differing intensity. Grief can impact our emotions, physical and mental health, thinking, relationships, behaviour and our faith or spirituality.
The Canadian Grief Alliance would like to know more about your experience with grief to better understand grief in Canada.
