Fair Employment Week - "Take Your Term Colleague to Coffee" Thank You Campaign

The third week in October each year is Fair Employment Week, the Canadian Association of University Teachers' annual campaign to raise awareness about precarious employment on campuses and support local organizing to improve the working conditions of contract academic staff. For us here at Camosun College that's our many Term, Contract, Casual and Substitute Faculty Members. Show your support by joining us at these Fair Employment Week activities!

Continuing Faculty members are invited to show their appreciation for their Term colleagues by registering themselves and colleagues for our "Take your Term Colleagues to Coffee on the CCFA" thank you campaign. In our busy lives, we rarely take time to enjoy a few moments of connection and relationship-building but that's one of the most important parts of integrating into department culture! We want to help. Tell us who you are and who you'd like to take to coffee! We will collect these responses throughout the week & send you two campus coffee shop coupons to enjoy a coffee and muffin together through intercampus mail. If you don't have an office or mailbox, let us know where you'd prefer us to send them.

We'd love to welcome our Brand New CCFA Faculty Members with a coffee card, too!  If you are a new employee feel free to register for a coffee coupon, too. We'll contact you with other helpful information for you to know as a new Term Employee at Camosun!

This campaign will be limited "while supplies last" so register soon & one per continuing and/or term faculty member so we can reach as many of you both as possible!
