Compliance Self-Assessment Tool for Accessibility Plans

Transportation Network (Passenger Service)

Purpose

This tool can help organizations in the transportation network (passenger service) determine whether their accessibility plans meet the requirements and the intent of the Accessible Canada Act and the Accessible Canada Regulations. It can also help these organizations identify areas that may require additional attention.

Completing this tool is optional. Organizations are not required to use this tool. You can print or save your results electronically. Your results will not be shared with the Accessibility Commissioner.

This tool covers the current legal and regulatory requirements as well as recommended practices and future requirements. 

Helpful Notes for Users of this Tool

  • User means someone who is filling out this tool for a federally regulated organization. The words “organization” and “federally regulated entity” mean the same thing in these questions.
