Note:
The receiving laboratory is responsible for establishing acceptance and rejection criteria for all samples received and reserves the right to refuse samples from external collectors based on this established criteria. It is expected that an agreement is established with a laboratory as part of the establishment of collection services to ensure all activities are in compliance with the receiving laboratory’s established acceptance and rejection criteria.
Please note that BC regulations prohibit facilities from providing a fee-for-service for MSP insured services, as stipulated in the
Medicare Protection Act
and Bill 92. The DAP is not able to support accreditation of facilities that are providing private pay services for MSP insured services.
