Hamilton Public Health is collecting business contact information (name, professional role, organization, and email address) to communicate medical advisories, memos, and public health updates to healthcare partners in our jurisdiction. This information is collected and will only be used in a professional capacity. Business contact information is excluded from the definition of personal information under section 2(2.1) of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA). Where a subscriber chooses to provide a personal email address, that information is collected under the authority of section 29(2) of MFIPPA and will be used only for the purpose described above.
