Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) in the Atlantic Region is launching a pilot project to compile a list of women-owned or led businesses that can deliver catering services in the Atlantic Region. The list will be shared within federal departments and agencies in Atlantic Canada so that employees can use the list for their catering needs.
The pilot project will run for approximately one year. To participate, your business must qualify as a women-owned or led business (as per the definition below) and be able to provide catering services in the Atlantic Region.
Women-Owned or Led Business A business is considered women-owned if at least 51% of the business is owned, managed and controlled by women, and is considered women-led when the chief executive officer, or the holder of an equivalent position in the organization, is a woman.
To participate in this pilot project, please complete the following questionnaire which should take about 5 minutes. Once completed, we will follow up to confirm if you are eligible. Please be advised that inclusion on the list is not a guarantee that your business will be contacted to provide services. Also, note that as part of the pilot project, you will be required to complete a quarterly report that will assist the government with measuring the pilot’s success.
Please note that you can save your answers at any point during the questionnaire and return to it later. Once you have completed and submitted your responses, you will have an opportunity to save your submission for your records. For any questions or comments, please contact OSME-BPME-ATL@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca.
